Heron 3000

Heron 3000 is an automatic grain sample extractor. Its sampling probe is submerged in the grain mass, the sample is extracted using vacuum, which with the help of the same vacuum transports the sample by hoses to the container in the lab. When extracting the sample the probe submerges in the grain mass until it feels load/resistance (hits the trailer/container bottom or another hard surface). After stopping the probe returns to its starting position, while extracting a grain sample at the same time. The probe will return to its starting position only after going through to the bottom of the grain pile, i.e. only after it reaches the bottom of the container or the dump truck.
Special construction reduces the side-by-side movement of the probe.

Lifting and lowering system has a gear motor and speed change capability (patented).
The perfect system allows to take samples from wet or compressed batches delivered in transport vehicles.
The electronic system can recognize the trailers bottom (patented). When the nozzle reaches the trailer’s bottom the system automatically raises the nozzle to the surface.
Adjustment of the sampling nozzle force.
Left/right turn speed adjustment.
Powerful vacuum turbine is installed in the device.
Samples can be transported up to 200 meters.
Electrical equipment is installed in the sampler stand.
10 litter capacity for samples with cyclone effect.
Samples can be taken in the range of 2 to 5 meters, depending on the chosen model:
HERON 3000 STANDARD
HERON 3000 GYROSCOPIC
* on special order other sampler types can be delivered, which can take samples along the entire length of the container or the trailer.

Samples of the following grain can be taken:
Wheat, barley, rye, buckwheat, oats, wet and dry corn, sunflower seeds, rapeseeds, rice.
